Cambiar la librería fpdf por tcpdf

He estado utilizando la librería tcpdf para generar reportes en pdf. Se basa en fpdf y es mucho mejor ya que pasa de html a pdf con mucha precisición además de otras funcionalidades que mejoran con creces la librería padre.

    Los ejemplos de tcpdf (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.tecnick.com/public/code/cp_dpage.php?aiocp_dp=tcpdf_examples">http://www.tecnick.com/public/code/cp_d ... f_examples</a><!-- m -->) valen para mostrar la funcionalidad, resumo un pequeño ejemplo.

    Los pasos que yo he seguido son:
    1) Descargar la librería de <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=128076">http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... _id=128076</a><!-- m --> y descomprimir la carpeta en library. Editar el archivo de configuración para añadir la libreria tcpdf.

    2) Crear un controlador pdf_controller.php
    <?php
    class PdfController extends ApplicationController {

    function reporte(){
    $this->set_response("view");
    // create new PDF document
    $pdf = new TCPDF(PDF_PAGE_ORIENTATION, PDF_UNIT, PDF_PAGE_FORMAT, true);

    // set document information
    $pdf->SetCreator(PDF_CREATOR);
    $pdf->SetAuthor("Nicola Asuni");
    $pdf->SetTitle("TCPDF Example 006");
    $pdf->SetSubject("TCPDF Tutorial");
    $pdf->SetKeywords("TCPDF, PDF, example, test, guide");

    // set default header data
    $pdf->SetHeaderData(PDF_HEADER_LOGO, PDF_HEADER_LOGO_WIDTH, PDF_HEADER_TITLE, PDF_HEADER_STRING);

    // set header and footer fonts
    $pdf->setHeaderFont(Array(PDF_FONT_NAME_MAIN, '', PDF_FONT_SIZE_MAIN));
    $pdf->setFooterFont(Array(PDF_FONT_NAME_DATA, '', PDF_FONT_SIZE_DATA));

    //set margins
    $pdf->SetMargins(PDF_MARGIN_LEFT, PDF_MARGIN_TOP, PDF_MARGIN_RIGHT);
    $pdf->SetHeaderMargin(PDF_MARGIN_HEADER);
    $pdf->SetFooterMargin(PDF_MARGIN_FOOTER);

    //set auto page breaks
    $pdf->SetAutoPageBreak(TRUE, PDF_MARGIN_BOTTOM);

    //set image scale factor
    $pdf->setImageScale(PDF_IMAGE_SCALE_RATIO);

    //set some language-dependent strings
    $pdf->setLanguageArray($l);

    //initialize document
    $pdf->AliasNbPages();

    // add a page
    $pdf->AddPage();

    //

    // set font
    $pdf->SetFont("dejavusans", "", 10);

    // create some HTML content

    Con esto debe de valer.
  • Esto sigue siendo horrible tanto como fpdf!
    Alguin conoce una forma mas facil de general reporte

  • Es muy fácil, lo que pasa es que el ejemplo es un poco largo jejeje básicamente debes tomar tu html y ponerlo en una variable e imprimirlo en el PDF, así de simple.

    Es una manera muy muy fácil de generar reportes, o por lo menos así lo veo yo ;)
